Put up a one page website tonight
A real one page website with a working contact form, live on a link you can send, in about twenty minutes. You describe it, correct it by talking, and publish. It will not do the hard parts of a big site, and it will tell you so.
The tool
Lovable
Describe a website or a small app and it builds a real one you can publish, then change by talking to it. The free plan is enough for this.
Describe the page
copy, paste into Lovable, change the parts in [brackets]
Build a one page website for [my dog grooming business in Provo]. A headline, three services with the prices left blank, opening hours, a photo placeholder, and a contact form that emails me. Works on a phone, calm colours, no stock photos.
What good looks like
A page you could send to a customer after adding your prices and one real photo.
Change it by talking
copy, paste into Lovable, change the parts in [brackets]
Move the contact form above the services. Make the headline say [Dog grooming in Provo, walk-ins welcome]. Use a warmer colour. Nothing else.
What good looks like
Three changes, nothing else. If it redesigned the whole page, say "undo that, only the three changes."
Put it live and test it
follow these in the app
Steps, not a prompt: click Publish, copy the link, open it on your phone, fill in the contact form with your own details, and check the email arrives.
What good looks like
A link that works on your phone and a test email in your inbox. If the email did not arrive, the form is decoration; fix that before you share it.
Watch out
Do not put your home address or personal number on a business page unless you want customers at the door. A business number and "by appointment" is fine.
Now with your own thing. Same steps. The one on the fridge counts.
